20 Reasons Your Bed At Home Is Your First True Love

20 Reasons Your Bed At Home Is Your First True Love

There are many downsides to going home for Spring Break while you hear about your entire campus going to Florida for seven days of drunken debauchery. However, there is one thing that I am looking forward to when I go home to the perfectly manicured lawns of suburbia: my bed. Not my bed that I have in my sorority. That thing gets the job done, but it is nothing like the real deal. Beds, if you will roll with this simile here, are kind of like boyfriends or girlfriends. A really good bed makes every moment worth it, but a terrible bed leaves you with feelings of regret, anger and an “I’m never doing that again,” mindset. I truly believe that every college student’s bed that they have at home is like a good partner. In fact, I think our home beds should be considered our first true love. I mean, hellooo, they

Why The Gym Should Be Your Happy Hour On A Friday Night

The guy you met last weekend hasn’t texted you back, you spent an hour this morning trying on different outfits because nothing fit you the way you wanted it to, and your bank account looks like a one way ticket to a Friday night at home. Or, you can head to the club.. And I’m not talking about putting on your stiletto heels and heading downtown, I’m talking about laceing up your running shoes and heading to the real club. A health club. Or in other words, the GYM. Let’s be honest for a minute, are you really at the gym on a Friday night? Why yes, yes you are. And you love it. Why ladies? Because.. 10. The squat bar is the only bar we really need.  We all want the booty but do nothing to get it. Ever heard of a bubble butt? Yeah, that doesn’t come from drinking beer and

20 Reasons Growing Up Is Totally Overrated

I miss being a kid. Granted, for all intents and purposes, I still am a kid, but I am talking about the days where I used to pack a set of “play clothes,” and staying up late was when you were awake past 9:30 PM. Those were the good old days, but like all wonderful things, they had to come to an end. Now that I am in that awkward purgatory of being a child and an adult (also known as college) I have been reflecting on what it is that I really liked about being a kid, and that is when I came to the conclusion that growing up is unbelievably overrated. Don’t believe me? Allow me to convince you… 20.) Growing up means paying bills 19.) Growing up means settling down 18.) Growing up means terrible hangovers 17.) Growing up means joint pain 16.) Growing up means 401

10 Ways You Know You Have An Awesome Wingman For The Night

Wingmen: can’t hook-up with them, can’t hook-up without them. The job of a wing-man is not an easy one, because they have to be around while you’re trying to spit game, but they also cannot suffocate you and the person you are pursuing, because then they are just c***blocking, which is the opposite of what you need them to do. So how do you know if you have a good wingman for a night out? Look no further. 10.) They are in a relationship of their own. So you know they won’t be interfering whatsoever. 9.) They have solid game themselves. You don’t want an awkward person to be your wingman, now do you? No – you want a Hitch.

An Open Letter To College Students Who Are Forced To Get Campus Jobs

While the booze is a nice plus and the campus eye candy is always welcome, we all know that college is primarily about expanding our educational journeys. However, we do not just learn inside a classroom environment. We do, in fact, learn at parties, in our homes and on all other college campus locations. Somewhere that students truly learn a lot in college is at the various jobs they hold. Everybody is always talking about broke college kids, and even with a job it is true that money can come and go very quickly on campus. A few delivery meals here, a crazy night at the bar there and the purchase of textbooks and other class materials can burn a hole in our pockets easily. So, while college students still maintain jobs, #mo’moneymo’problems is still a thing. Thinking about getting yourself a job before the semester wraps up? It’s a great
