Being a girl can be a real struggle sometimes. Scratch that… actually all the time. I surveyed over 100 college girls and asked them what they love/hate about being a college girl. I came up with my top 10 list of things girls hate and a top 10 list of things girls love. Here were the most common answers. Enjoy! 10 Things I Hate About Being A Girl
1) That we only take selfies and don’t do anything good for society. Actually, we’re the most civic-minded generation since the 1930s and we are a generation of “activist doers.” Besides, I would argue selfies are pretty harmless compared to some of the things other generations are known for (you know, war, pollution, political pork). Also, we take amazing selfies.
Wouldn’t it be nice if you could chug away at your favorite beer without experiencing this unpleasant side effect? Well, it turns out that a group of Australian nutrition researchers have already been working on achieving just that, and managed to brew up a “hangover-free” beer last year. While it might make you feel a little less groggy the next day, it can’t unfortunately take away the beer goggles that inevitably accompany the sweet, amber nectar. To make their wonder beer, scientists at Griffith University’s Health Institute added electrolytes—substances that affect the amount of water in your body—to two different commercial beers, one regular strength and one light. Whether it was rankings the Top Party Schools or rankings the Hottest Girls, or ranking the colleges with the Smartest Students , we’ve done it all. In honor of Memorial Day Weekend, it’s now time to rank the Top 125 Colleges where students drink to blackout. How did we conduct this research? Well, let’s see. First, we looked into seeing how often the college is in the news for alcohol related arrests. Second, we looked into seeing what a schools track record is for alcohol use. Lastly, we asked students from across the country what they had to say about alcohol use at their colleges. From all of the information we received, here’s our list. Enjoy!
