Everyone has that one person. Everyone has someone that slipped through their fingers, no matter the attempt to keep them around. The “One That Got Away” left while there was still sparks. Sometimes distance gets in the way, and other times it is just simply life that tears you two apart. Whatever the story may be, there is always one question that lingers: What if he/she came back? My initial response when I was asked this question was “that would be amazing.” The flame that we put out could be rekindled, and knowing us, it would not take long. Sometimes I like to think that we were meant for some crazy love story, like the ones in the movies. You know, the ones where we meet in a coffeeshop years down the road when our lives are less hectic and we have things (kind of) figured out. Initially, that question gives me
12 Thoughts When Putting On Makeup
Makeup. The coverer of dark circles. The mask of glamour. It shields our flaws and allows us to flaunt our inner beauty on the outside. There’s nothing like getting dolled up. Although the results are fabulous, the process isn’t. Here are a few thoughts you may have when putting on makeup. 12. “I need a new base for my eye shadow.” That gold eyeshadow must say: 11. “Should I use liquid eyeliner or a pencil?” Think about your strengths and weaknesses. 15 Thoughts During My First Month of College
15. “I’ve Got This.” I swear to you this was my main idea during that first month. I can do this; I will beat the statistics that say this “transition” is difficult. I won’t be like the rest of those poor freshmen who didn’t get it-well-I think the reason they didn’t get it, is because they had the same thought as me. Pride cometh before the fall, my friends. Believing yourself to be mightiest and smarter than you actually are when you arrive to campus can put you in a heap of trouble. Lesson One: You are not invincible. You will bring emotional baggage with you. Baggage from your family, past friendships, broken relationships, and all the horror of high school. Moving towns, or even across the country isn’t going to fix that. You can push your problems down, but they won’t go away until they are dealt with. 14. “I’m

Here’s a brief sample of what your average inner monologue looks like while you’re walking to class. 20. “I should have worn a hoodie so I can sleep in class today.” 19. “Captain America could totally beat Batman in a fight.” 18. “I bet everyone in The Walking Dead” is in purgatory, like that show Lost.“ 17. “That girl is looking at me.
Ten Thoughts of Every Restaurant Worker
These thoughts occur on a daily basis said every restaurant employee ever… 10. Did somebody say corner? Corner is our special lingo that we use in a restaurant to make sure we don’t have chaos in the kitchen AKA broken dishes, cracked glasses, and dressing all over the place. It works about 50 percent of the time, and I say 50 percent because last time I yelled corner, I spilled a ton of honey mustard all over my boss (sorry!). The simple word “corner” becomes a part of our daily lives and follows us everywhere we go. Needless to say, when you see a person who walks into a corner in pubic and yells CORNER, they are not psycho or crazy — they probably just work at a restaurant. 9. No, I did not seat you there because I hate you. When the hosts sits you at a sit-down restaurant, we did not
